Well hello again.
I haven't seen you since I got back from Italy. It's been far too long and a recent event just jolted me to my senses.
Two days ago, May 12th, I graduated from college. What? Me? Who? It's not that I ever expected I wouldn't graduate. In fact, I've spent the last year of college trying to tell myself it's my senior year and to care less about school and more about having fun with my friends while their still around...but I find it impossible to hand in something that I don't consider my best work. But enough about my work ethic, the point was that graduating was never a question. But now that I am no longer a College of Charleston student and currently have no immediate plans except to job hunt for hours every single day, what is my title?
Sadly, I am no longer The Traveling Student. But in light of this change and my constant homesickness for Charleston, I've realized it's sad that I haven't blogged since I returned from Italy even though I've spent the last four years in Conde Nast's 2012 Best City in the US. How ridiculous of me! So in honor of the beautiful pastel-colored, palm tree-littered city that has been my home for the last four years, I will play catch up...and try to think about what to do about the title of my blog. But for now, I'm going to live in the past.
